Job Title: Trainee Children

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Forensic Outreach Liaison Service (FOLS) team. The successful candidate will provide effective clinical input into the team, working with individuals with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled interventions to individuals with mental health needs in a community setting.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team as a member of the Forensic Community Team and wider Forensic pathway.
  • Assess and manage risk in a variety of settings.
  • Develop and maintain links with other professionals, including practitioners within long-term conditions and primary care.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration as an RMN/RNLD.
  • Experience of working with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to assess and manage risk in a variety of settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work holistically with older adults in a bio-psycho-social model of care.
