Sales and Customer Service Associate Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Customer Service Associate to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new and lapsed accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow and develop new and lapsed accounts within a defined portfolio, collaborating with other sales staff to achieve maximum potential.
  • Analyse customer account reports, study trends, and identify ways to increase sales and margin, such as product switches to own brand and special offers.
  • Address all customer issues, queries, and requests for product and service information promptly, efficiently, and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required.
  • Manage out-of-stock items by communicating with purchasing and advising customers accordingly.
  • Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly operations, sales, stock control, and credit control.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in a telesales environment.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness, and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others and share information and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong customer focus, with an understanding of the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Proactive and self-reliant with the initiative to monitor and manage own time effectively.
  • Adaptable, with effective planning and organisation skills.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours or help in areas outside of the role when needed.
