About the Role:

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in maintaining meaningful business relationships with internal and external customers. As a key member of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will be responsible for providing high-level customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional communication and support to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Utilize sales order entry systems, websites, and knowledge base resources to provide expert assistance with order placements and status inquiries, including pricing, availability, order status, and shipping details.
  • Adhere to established service quality standards and meet order and inquiry processing time standards, including talk time, after-call work, and order accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of related customer service experience preferred, with a strong background in sales order entry systems, customer relationship management, and business process improvement.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Software and SAP Software preferred.
  • Ability to repetitively type, interact with customers, and view a computer monitor for extended periods.
  • Ability to demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with customers, as well as handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Initiative and organization skills are essential to ensure excellent customer service and meet business objectives.
