Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Mental Health and Disability Services team at Kirklees Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct holistic assessments and develop personalized support plans to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers to achieve positive outcomes.
- Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and provide support to individuals in the community.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Hold a Social Work England recognized qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
- Have experience working with vulnerable adults and be able to use social work methods to promote positive change.
- Be able to travel across Kirklees and work in a variety of settings.
- A supportive management and senior leadership team.
