This role involves performing routine PPM & reactive maintenance on production & packaging machinery, identifying and resolving electrical & mechanical faults, and working on conveyors, labellers, seamers, power presses, control panels, printers, and palletisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine PPM & reactive maintenance on production & packaging machinery.

  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer/ Industrial Electrician with experience of working in a manufacturing environment. You should have a good understanding of electrical systems and be able to diagnose and resolve faults.

Requirements:

  • Must be an electrically biased maintenance engineer / industrial electrician.
  • Have previously worked in manufacturing industry.
  • Ideal qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum.
  • Completed a time-served apprenticeship.
  • Must have worked with VSD's, motors, inverters, sensors, circuits, servo drives, PLC - electrical fault finding skills.
  • A team player with strong electrical fault finding & problem solving skills.
  • Beneficial to have 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Dealt with PPM systems and happy to contribute towards improvement ideas.
  • Willings to train mechanically if needed.
  • Industrial electrical fault finding on control panels.
