Career Opportunity for a GP in Specialist Community Alcohol and Drug Treatment Service
NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join their specialist community alcohol and drug treatment service.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on the holistic management of individuals with drug and alcohol problems.
Key responsibilities include delivering interventions to help people manage problem drug and alcohol use, including assessment, substitute prescribing, and treatment for Hepatitis C and HIV.
As a member of the integrated service with healthcare and social services, the GP will contribute to innovative clinical service and research projects.
Additionally, they will develop a recovery-oriented system of care and participate in teaching initiatives.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
