We are seeking a highly skilled SENDCO/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator to join our team at TeacherActive.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to develop strong relationships with schools, parents, and external professionals while supporting the SEND team in Derby.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting effective communication skills among students and helping them overcome communication challenges.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Empathy and compassion towards others
  • Experience of working with pupils on the Autistic Spectrum
  • SENDco Qualification
  • SENDco or Deputy SENDco experience
