Resourcery Group is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their established Finance team. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £26k and a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts and experience with ERP systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and managing supplier accounts in the ERP system
  • Receiving, recording, and processing all purchase invoices
  • Ensuring purchase invoices adhere to purchasing policy and are accurately matched to purchase orders or authorized
  • Reconciling supplier statements and processing employee expenses and credit card transactions
  • Preparing invoices and expense claims for payment by BACS
  • Communicating with service providers regarding unbilled amounts
  • Setting up bank payments on the bank and ERP systems
  • Maintaining accurate and organized filing and email systems

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least one year of experience in an accounts department
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to explain financial information to non-finance professionals
  • A logical and methodical approach to work
  • Strong team player skills with a willingness to assist and learn from colleagues
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible organization
