Job Title: Relief Support Worker

VSA LLC is a reputable social care charity dedicated to providing exceptional support services to the people of Aberdeen. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to reach their full potential by delivering high-quality care that enables the best of lives.

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Craigton Grove, a residential service in Peterculter, Aberdeen. This is a relief/ad hoc position, offering a variety of shifts, including earlies, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tenants with learning disabilities in maintaining their tenancies and promoting independence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as planning, shopping, preparing, and cooking meals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate recording systems and reports.
  • Comply with legislative requirements and health, safety, and security procedures.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience with people with learning disabilities is necessary, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
