About the Role

VSA is a leading social care charity in Aberdeen, dedicated to providing high-quality support services to individuals and communities. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team at Craigton Grove, Peterculter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support tenants in their daily living through identified 'Care at Home' tasks, promoting independence and self-reliance.
  • Guide and actively support tenants in Housing Support tasks, helping them to maintain and develop necessary skills.
  • Take the lead in planning, monitoring, and reviewing service delivery plans to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Oversee and participate in the maintenance of accurate recording systems and reports, ensuring compliance with administrative, regulatory, and management requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a sound working knowledge of legislative requirements, recognizing their impact on service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, accessing and updating records as necessary.
  • Contribute to a safe and protective environment by complying with health, safety, and security procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate well verbally with individuals.
  • Basic IT skills, including email and record-keeping.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Hourly rate: £12.20 per hour. A variety of shifts, including earlies, evenings, and weekends, with sleepovers possible. Location: Craigton Grove, Peterculter.
