Job Title: Relief Support Worker

VSA is a well-established local charity, dedicated to providing high-quality support services to individuals and communities in Aberdeen. Our mission is to empower people to achieve their full potential, promoting independence and well-being.

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at Craigton Grove, a residential service providing 24-hour support to adults with learning disabilities. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our services, supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies and develop necessary skills for independent living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tenants in daily living tasks, such as planning, shopping, and cooking meals
  • Assist with Housing Support tasks, including monitoring and reviewing service delivery plans
  • Participate in the maintenance of accurate recording systems and reports
  • Comply with legislative requirements and health, safety, and security procedures
  • Develop knowledge and practice continuously through training and development activities

Requirements:

  • No prior experience of working with people with learning disabilities is necessary, as full on-the-job training will be provided
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including earlies, evenings, and weekends
  • Hourly rate: £12.20
