Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assessment and Support Specialist to join our team at Darlington College. We are seeking a skilled professional to work closely with apprentices, employers, and programme leaders to ensure the successful delivery of our apprenticeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with individual apprentices and their employers to develop high-quality training plans, ensuring they meet the occupational standards and achieve the End Point Assessment.
  2. Conduct regular workplace reviews, documenting progress, and providing support to apprentices in meeting their off-the-job training requirements.
  3. Attend departmental tracking meetings to accurately report on your areas of responsibility and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality in all apprenticeship activities.
  4. Manage the process of reporting absence from college to employers, ensuring the safety of all apprentices and adhering to college procedures.
  5. Forge positive relationships with employers, promoting further educational opportunities, and liaising with the Business Development team to ensure seamless transitions.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
