Join Our Team as a Health and Social Care Specialist

We are recruiting a skilled Health and Social Care Specialist to join our team in Northamptonshire Sport.

  • This is an excellent opportunity to work with customers aged 18-65 who require physical and learning support.
  • You will assist with personal care, manual handling, medication, finances, and shopping, promoting independence through information provision and liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support and care to customers in their own homes.
  • Help customers maintain independent living by assisting with physical disabilities, hygiene routines, and medication.
  • Support practical tasks for physical wellbeing and living conditions.

Essential Requirements

  • Care Certificate (or willingness to work towards).
  • Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in health or care work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel effectively.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and tolerant.
  • Understanding of equality standards and diversity issues.
