Service Manager Job Description

Complete Security Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our Fire and Security Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative coordination and implementation of business operations within the service division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all service, small works, and fault works within the service division.
  • Organize tasks required within a fast-paced environment to support overall business objectives.
  • Manage timesheets, call out rota, and overtime.
  • Manage engineer and office critical stock levels.
  • Ensure all sites have detailed asset data within our CRM and is kept up to date.
  • Manage the growth of the service division, ensuring the team is vibrant, technically able, and fulfilled in their role.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Set the strategic direction for the department and build systems that encourage growth and improvements.
  • Review and approve operational invoices.
  • Support credit control and financial escalations.
  • Support HR duties for the company.
  • Provide operational and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with governing bodies (NSI etc) and H&S regulations. Complete office and engineer audits.
  • Continuously review operations to ensure the company is working as efficiently as possible.
  • Complete financial review of staffing roles and investigate if we can make the lives of staff and operations easier with further lower cost employment including VAs.
  • Continuously review client and staff feedback to ensure we are in line with market conditions and creating a company who people want to work for and with.
  • Undertake training and development to further your skills, knowledge, and experience in higher management and directorship.
Requirements:
  • Technical understanding of both Fire and Security systems.
  • At least 5 years in a management, project management, or similar role.
  • Extensive experience in rolling out operational policies and processes in combination with the ability to create definite plans and the dedication to deliver them to accomplish goals and realised outcomes.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and networking skills.
  • People-person, who takes pride in providing good service.
  • Good leadership qualities with the ability to provide direction.
  • Experienced with data analysis supported by excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Resilient with evidence of being able to work under pressure.
  • Influencing and developing team members.
  • Highly organized and skilled with time management.
  • High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic.
  • Strong project management, planning abilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience protecting company classified and sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Valid UK Driver's licence.
