About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tuckshop Operations Manager to join our team at St Clare's Catholic School, Burdell. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tuckshop, providing excellent customer service to students and staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage the daily operations of the tuckshop, including food preparation, ordering, and inventory management;">
  • Supervise and train volunteer staff to ensure a high level of customer service and standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained;">
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and other relevant data to inform business decisions;">
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability;">
  • Liaise with the Tuckshop Convenor and school administrators to ensure effective communication and coordination of events and activities;">
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards;">
  • Perform other related duties as required.">

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting;">
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team;">
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;">
  • Sound knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control;">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills;">
  • Highly developed customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to students, staff, and parents;">
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;">
  • Current Working with Children Suitability Card and a paid Blue Card before commencement; and">
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.">
