Children's Social Worker

The Wirral Council, in collaboration with the Children's MASH Team, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated social worker to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK social work experience within a children's social work team to contribute to the safety and well-being of children in the Wirral area.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team working under the supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
- MASH Integrated Front Door
- Assessments
- Child Protection work
- Care Management
- Manage a case load
- Home Visits
- Court Work
- Liaise with other professionals
The successful candidate will work a standard 37-hour week (flexible by negotiation) and will be employed on a 3-month temporary contract.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumThe Wirral Council offers a range of benefits, including:

The ideal candidate will hold a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and possess a valid car driving license.
