Academics is seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join their team in Salisbury. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work with students aged 11 to 18 who require support with mental health needs and behaviour changes. Your role will involve providing 1:1 and group support in the classroom, helping to manage students' behaviour and develop social and emotional skills. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and psychologists to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience working with challenging behaviour and mental health. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field and gain valuable experience in youth work and psychology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 and group support to students with mental health needs and behaviour changes
  • Helping to manage students' behaviour and develop social and emotional skills
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and psychologists to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in a relevant field
  • Experience working with young people with mental health needs and behaviour changes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Salary: £80-£90 per day. Immediate start.
