Teaching Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Education Support Specialist in a highly respected primary school in Salisbury.

This role is perfect for aspiring teachers or experienced support staff looking to make a positive impact on the learning experience of young children. As an Education Support Specialist, you will collaborate with passionate teachers to create a dynamic and effective learning environment, enabling students to thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and support classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver creative and well-planned lessons
  • Engage and support children's learning, assisting in delivering engaging lesson plans
  • Catalyze 'light-bulb' moments through active engagement and support

Requirements:

  • Degree-educated individual with a passion for education
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in a classroom setting
  • Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues, and learning difficulties is highly beneficial

Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate of £90-£105 per day
  • Full-time position with regular working hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
