Job Title: Neighbourhood Development Officer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Neighbourhood Development Officer to join our team and contribute to the regeneration of communities in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering neighbourhood services, working closely with residents, community groups, and stakeholders to identify and address local needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver neighbourhood services, including estate inspections, community engagement, and partnership working
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, community groups, and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service
  • Identify and address local needs, including property condition issues and environmental concerns
  • Contribute to the development of service plans and budgets to improve neighbourhood services

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a neighbourhood or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Good IT literacy and experience of using housing management software
  • Demonstrable knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures

Salary: £41,082 (dependent on location and experience)
