Job Opportunity

Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled Telemarketing Specialist to join our team in Southampton, United Kingdom. This role offers an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This position involves developing new business opportunities through warm calling on a B2B basis. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to monitor lead progression and target specific accounts in line with the sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make contact by telephone with specifically targeted customers from a warm database.
  • Prospect and generate new sales leads for Critical Infrastructure opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to monitor lead progression and target specific accounts.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system, acquiring new contacts and adding to the system.
  • Support the sales team with booking and coordinating meetings with customers.
  • Arrange for the sending of introductory emails, invites, and sales literature.
  • Assist with promoting marketing campaigns and supporting follow-up from events that Vertiv attends.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent telephone manner, confidence, and strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong ICT knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel, and using collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Team working in a sales-oriented environment.
  • Effective time management.
  • Comfortable spending the majority of time outbound calling.
