About Us:
The NHS provides services to over 56,000 patients across rural Suffolk, with multiple locations including Bildeston Health Centre, Constable Country Medical Practice, Hadleigh Health Centre, The Holbrook and Shotley Surgery, and Needham Market Country Practice.
Job Summary:
We seek a skilled paramedic to join our dynamic team, working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our services, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Ambulate and assess patients who attend the surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury.
- Triage and treat patients wishing to see a healthcare professional, making any necessary referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team.
- Work from the surgery and within the local community as an autonomous practitioner caring for patients and families.
- Prescribe and issue medications as appropriate following policy, patient group directives, NICE guidelines, and local clinical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous healthcare records appropriate to the consultation.
- Actively participate in mentoring and supervision, plus practice-derived CPD opportunities.
Estimated Salary Range:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum
