The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five 9-4 (A*-C) grade GCSEs and a degree in paramedic science or practice, with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). You should have experience in a busy primary care setting and be able to identify own learning needs.

In this role, you will promote and take responsibility for your own professional development, working autonomously within your professional boundaries and taking responsibility for your own learning and promoting evidence-based practice through the use of the latest research-based guidelines and the development of practice-based research.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Examine undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems, making use of skills in history-taking, physical examination, problem-solving and clinical decision-making to diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist patients in complex, urgent or emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records, utilising computer systems where appropriate and consider the Caldecott Principles in relation to all data handling.

Burlington Primary Care offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer six weeks' holiday plus bank holidays, membership to the NHS pension scheme with employer contribution, monthly well-being staff events, and a range of other benefits.
