Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Livewell Southwest. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the Non Medical Prescribing Team, including data inputting, minute taking, and reception duties.
  2. Arrange meetings and events on behalf of the service, making bookings as necessary.
  3. Respond to telephone, email, and written queries on behalf of the service area.
  4. Produce informal and formal minutes as an accurate record of meetings, transcribing and distributing as directed.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely electronic and hard copy information training logs using organizational systems as directed.
  6. Support operational staff to access management information; electronic and hard copy.
  7. Collect and collate data to enable managers to monitor budgets and performance in relation to business support function.
  8. Provide support to customer and visitor reception areas, acting as the first point of enquiry and sign posting individuals to relevant information or service.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a high level of education, ideally NVQ 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualifications or significant equivalent previous experience and knowledge. The ideal candidate will also have experience of working in an administrative environment using computerized data systems, supervising other staff members, and possessing excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a good level, prioritize their workload, and work effectively as part of a team.
