**Job Summary:**

We're seeking a Commercial Data Strategist to join our team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. As a key member of our Client Enablement function, you will play a critical role in driving our commercial strategy and asset raising by leveraging technology-enabled, insight-led approaches to Distribution (Marketing, Sales & Client Management).

The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a top-tier consultancy, asset manager, or similar. They will enjoy making the complex simple, be commercially minded, and communicate with conviction. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with tech product managers, developers, and data scientists to articulate business needs for Distribution and assist with shaping the development and deployment of new capabilities to support a broad range of use cases across Sales and Client Management
  • Ensure the roadmap is well communicated and understood by business stakeholders, product, and technology teams
  • Complete program/project papers ensuring stakeholders are kept well informed of progress
  • Support Distribution leads in Sales and Client Management, ensuring they have the necessary insight and capabilities to operate and execute effectively and efficiently
  • Create captivating and engaging communications to foster a culture of innovation and change as we drive a more modern, client-centric Distribution proposition

Requirements:

  • Act as a trusted partner and specialist to the Distribution teams, creating & leveraging analysis to support continuous improvement
  • Good understanding of the asset management industry, in particular Distribution across Marketing, Sales &/or Client Management
  • Strong analytic skills including ability to identify patterns, potential issues, and then translate those into recommendations and capability requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills to create compelling narratives and engage user base
  • Experience with CRM and broader Sales and Martech stack products
