Senior Residential Support Worker (Children's Home)

Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive relationships with children, providing individualized care and support to meet their unique needs.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the home.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication with external agencies.
  • Take ownership of maintaining a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential childcare, with a proven track record of success.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and external partners.

  • Salary: £31,305.20 per annum (inclusive of sleep-ins).
  • Bonus Structure: £100 for 'Good', £200 for 'Outstanding' Ofsted outcomes.
