Nurse Leader in Community Health

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is seeking an exceptional Nurse Leader in Community Health to join its Continuing Healthcare Team. This is a part-time opportunity, working 18.75 hours per week with flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
Estimated Salary: £49,000 - £60,000 per annum
About the RoleThis role involves providing clinical leadership and support to the Case Manager within the Childrens Case Management Service (0-25). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the service in line with the National Framework for Children and Young Peoples Continuing Care.
- Provide clinical supervision and complete assessments to determine eligibility for Continuing Care.
- Ensure that individual care packages are reviewed in line with local policy.
- Monitor and manage the workload of the team within agreed targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Senior Clinical Operational Manager to ensure effective management of the team.
- To develop and implement a content management system to ensure information is properly managed.
- To take a lead in training & development and recruitment activity across the Team.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Childrens Nurse who has a post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be emotionally resilient, and have the ability to work under pressure.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in working in a healthcare environment.
- Experience of managing caseloads.
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
