This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Sustainability Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, whilst completing the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. The role is a two-year fixed-term contract.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team of energy and sustainability professionals within the Estates and Facilities Department.
Day-to-day management will be provided by the Head of Sustainability within the trust. This includes providing projects to manage and supporting the training that will be provided by an external apprenticeship management company. At least 20% of the successful applicant's role will consist of formal training.
Main Duties of the Job
The main duties of the role include:
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting; presenting data in a clear and attractive format, for example, monthly energy performance reports
- Assist with the creation and implementation of plans to improve the carbon footprint of the Trust
- Complete internal energy audits, surveys, and checks energy monitoring
- Assist in reviewing policies and practices in light of new or changing regulation, best practice, and Trust policy
- Assist in the creation and delivery of awareness days, behavior change campaigns, and presentations to staff about best practice

Job Responsibilities
