At Dorie School, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to support our classroom teachers with project work and professional development in a rural school setting.

About the Role

This part-time position is up to 0.2 FTE, commencing on January 28, 2025, and concluding on January 27, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for releasing permanent teachers to undertake in-school projects and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching Duties: Teach subjects including English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, and The Arts to Years 1-8 students.
  • Project Support: Assist in the development of in-school projects and professional learning opportunities for permanent teachers.
Requirements

Candidates must be certificated teachers with a strong passion for education and a willingness to work collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
