About the Job:
This role involves providing support to students with Special Educational Needs, aiming to raise their educational achievement.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the AVP Inclusion (SENCo) to support children with identified needs in their educational and social/behavioural development.
Responsibilities include liaising with teachers regarding planning and differentiation of work for students with SEND, supporting provision plans of students with EHCP's, and facilitating students' access to the curriculum by clarifying and explaining tasks and instructions.
The ideal candidate will promote positive standards of behaviour, develop positive relationships, and model good behaviour. They will also support the implementation and delivery of specific programmes, such as speech and language, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy.
Additionally, the successful candidate will deliver interventions to support student progress, undertake support activities outside of lessons, accompany students on off-site activities, and provide additional support for students who have alternative access arrangements.

This role offers a permanent position with a part-time working pattern and a competitive salary of £24,104 per annum (FTE). The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
