Domestic Violence Support Specialist

Cv-Library is looking for a highly motivated Domestic Violence Support Specialist to join our team in Dudley. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting victims of domestic abuse and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £25,000-£28,500 per year, depending on experience.
About the Job:As a Domestic Violence Support Specialist, you will work closely with victims of domestic abuse, providing emotional support, practical advice, and referring them to specialist services where necessary.
Main Tasks:- Prioritise high-risk cases and develop effective safety plans to protect individuals and their families.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals experiencing domestic violence, including telephone and face-to-face meetings.
- Collaborate with local agencies and organisations to ensure seamless referrals and comprehensive support services.
- IDVA qualification or equivalent experience in domestic/sexual violence.
- Level 3 education standard in a relevant field, such as health and social care.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable adults and children.
- Fully qualified driver with access to own vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
