About Black Country Women's Aid:
Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is a charity that works across the Black Country and wider West Midlands to provide vital services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
The Community Services Directorate delivers various essential services, including Community Domestic Abuse Support Services, the Black Country IRIS educator and advocacy service, and more.
This role is located within the Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service.
The BCWA Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service:
Supports victims of domestic violence and abuse through contracted/commissioning arrangements with other services and key agencies.
The Team:
A team of supportive individuals who empower clients to make informed choices, helping them live a life free from abuse.
Job Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risk levels and develop tailored safety plans for victims of domestic abuse.
- Advocate for victims within a multi-agency framework, responding to Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC).
- Empower victims/survivors to recognize the dynamics of domestic abuse and regain control over their lives.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS checks at the relevant level
Estimated Salary: £35,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
