Domestic Violence Prevention Specialist

Birmingham Voluntary Sector Council is a leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls. We seek a highly skilled Domestic Violence Prevention Specialist to join our team of passionate workers, dedicated to supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.
">This role will bring expertise around domestic violence and abuse into teams within the criminal justice system, providing training and support to professionals to build understanding of safe and appropriate interventions with women and children. The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide training and support to professionals in the criminal justice system
- Develop and implement programs to prevent domestic violence and abuse
- Collaborate with community organizations to provide resources and support to women and children
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
