Job Title: Shift Leader Front of House

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our Front of House team at German Doner Kebab. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Front of House team to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front of House, including managing stock levels, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and make recommendations to the management team.
  • Collaborate with the General Store Manager to coordinate all aspects of the Front of House, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service initiatives.
  • Ensure that all staff members are well-groomed and smartly dressed at all times, and that they are aware of and adhere to the company's uniform standards.
  • Perform any other duties as designated by the Operations Manager, including attending training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Shift Leader or Duty Manager in the food industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Financial management skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make recommendations to the management team.
