About the Role:

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician at ENGINEERINGUK, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety best practices. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the availability and quality of our equipment and work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  2. Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to maximize equipment effectiveness.
  3. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
  4. Work on continuous improvement projects, identifying and implementing best practices across multiple EU sites to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring, fault-finding, and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
