Senior Virologist Opportunity

CK Group is partnering with a leading UK life sciences biotechnology company to recruit an experienced Senior Virologist to join their team in East London on a permanent basis.

About the Role
  • Provide scientific expertise, leadership, and advice to multiple projects.
  • Develop training plans and deliver study management training programs alongside line managers.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise Senior Research Scientists and Study Leads.
  • Support clients in setting up their projects.

The ideal candidate will have an expert knowledge of virology and a thorough understanding of developments in assay technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the initiation of study plans and assign resources for the execution of scientific experiments.
  • Have a degree in a relevant scientific subject or a PhD in Biological Science.
  • Have a good working knowledge of GCP labs and ICH GCP standards.
  • Have experience in project management and providing technical support to senior key stakeholders and clients.
