CK Group, a leading science, clinical, and technical recruitment agency, is partnering with a prominent UK life sciences biotechnology company to find an experienced Virologist at a Principal Scientist level. This permanent position is based in East London.

The Role

As a Virologist, you will provide scientific expertise, leadership, and advice to multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include developing training plans, delivering study management training programs, and training, mentoring, and supervising Senior Research Scientists and Study Leads. You will also support clients in setting up their projects.

  • Have a deep understanding of virology and assay technologies.
  • Oversee the initiation of study plans and assign resources for scientific experiments.
Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in a relevant scientific subject or a PhD in Biological Science. You should have a good working knowledge of GCP labs and ICH GCP standards. Additionally, you should have experience in project management and providing technical support to senior stakeholders and clients.
