Job Opportunity:

CK Group is partnering with a leading UK life sciences biotechnology company to recruit an experienced Virologist at a Principal Scientist level. The successful candidate will join the company's site in East London on a permanent basis.

The Role:

  • Provide scientific expertise, leadership, and advice to multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Senior Research Scientists and Study Leads, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise Senior Research Scientists and Study Leads, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Support clients in setting up their projects, leveraging expertise in virology and assay technologies.
  • Oversee the initiation of study plans, assigning resources for the execution of scientific experiments, and ensuring compliance with GCP labs and ICH GCP standards.

Your Background:

  • Degree in a relevant scientific subject or PhD in Biological Science, with a strong foundation in virology and assay technologies.
  • Proven experience in project management, providing technical support to senior stakeholders and clients, and ensuring successful project delivery.
