Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to fill the position of Band 6 Senior Sister on our Liver Surgical Ward at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members
  • To develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new ideas and innovations

Requirements:

  • Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC register
  • Substantial post-registration experience working in a complex healthcare setting or acute NHS care setting
  • Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in the area supplemented by specialist clinical and/or managerial training and CPD

Salary: £42,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Mindelsohn Way, Birmingham, West Midlands, B15 2TH
