We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Staff Nurse to join our innovative Renal team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic and committed nurse who wants to develop their skills in renal care. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the chance to work with patients receiving haemodialysis and contribute to delivering high standards of patient care.

The role involves working on a rotational basis across different shifts, including nights and weekends, ensuring that we provide comprehensive cover to our patients. You will be required to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and maintain agreed nursing standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for patients receiving haemodialysis.
  • Maintain consistent delivery of planned care, adhering to agreed nursing and clinical standards.
  • Ensure adherence to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and all relevant Trust and local policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Registered Adult Nurse qualification on the NMC Register.
  • Evidence of ability to revalidate as required by the NMC.
  • Previous experience or recent work in an acute secondary NHS care setting (including student placements within the last 12 months).
  • Evidence of achievements and career development in your current post, as well as ongoing professional development and competence.
