Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) in a supportive and multidisciplinary team environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with acute mental health needs.

The role offers a unique chance to work across three small acute wards, each designed to provide a close-knit and community-focused experience. You will play a key role in a person-centred care environment, working with patients, families, and external agencies to support recovery and facilitate safe discharge back into the community.

Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care and supporting patients' recovery and rehabilitation
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and outcomes
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of ward policies and procedures
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC registration as an RMN or RNLD
  • Evidence of post-registration professional development
  • A positive attitude and commitment to quality improvement
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, the Mental Health Act, and best practices
