We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our Finance Department at Royal Holloway University of London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support to budget holders and working with complex data to provide insights. As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining financial models, supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing large datasets, and processing month-end and year-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models and forecasts
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Analyse complex financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Process month-end and year-end tasks, including reconciliations and close procedures
Requirements

To succeed as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
