Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Finning International Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join its team of experienced field service engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our industry-leading field service department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive repair and maintenance services to customers in the UK and Ireland. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will diagnose problems efficiently, provide detailed quotes, and ensure timely completion of repairs. Your expertise in plant equipment will enable you to attend sites safely, understand customer needs, and resolve mechanical or electrical issues effectively. You will also benefit from industry-leading CAT product training, enhanced maternity and paternity packages, and flexible working options.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, strong planning and organizational abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure. Experience with heavy earth-moving equipment operating knowledge, formal apprenticeship as a workshop engineer, and formally trained and served as a service engineer are essential requirements. A valid LDV driving license is also necessary.
