Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring all machinery and equipment run at maximum capacity.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement timely repairs.
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to maintain facilities and equipment across both sites.
- Assist with contract management and maintenance database upkeep.
- Valid UK driving license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Relevant qualifications as a Maintenance Technician or Engineer.
This is a 40-hour-a-week position with a 1:00 PM finish on Fridays, offering a competitive salary up to £35,000.
