About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Thegradcafe. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. You'll also be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse, using the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness.

In addition to your technical expertise, you'll be expected to uphold all health and safety policies and practices, supporting the development and progression of on-site apprentices and working on continuous improvement projects to roll out best practices across our sites.

A Day in the Life

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer, you'll work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, including painting and plumbing, and liaise with contractors when necessary. You'll work on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock, allowing us to deliver at the speed we're known for.

Requirements
  1. Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
  3. Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  4. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
