About the Job

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Our team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, which means you will be working on the front lines to prevent breakdowns and ensure our customers receive their orders on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems, to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve issues and minimize disruption to our operations.

  • Support continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting recommendations to enhance our maintenance processes.

  • Work closely with our operational team and senior reliability engineers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, with experience in planned preventative maintenance and fault finding within MHE/Automation systems.

  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, as well as experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and other equipment.

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a full engineering indentured apprenticeship or a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
