Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our Cystic Fibrosis (CF) team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services to our patients, working closely with the CF team to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert medicines advice and medication reviews to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and counselling for CF inpatients and outpatients.
- Support the registration of homecare for CF patients under BCH care.
- Participate in the pharmacy late night, weekend, and bank holiday service as required.
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Services and BTEC (or equivalent).
- Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Accuracy Checking Technician Award.
- Experience of supervision and training other pharmacy staff.
- Experience or knowledge of Hospital electronic prescribing systems.
- Experience of training on new systems.
- Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy.
