About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer with Flexicruit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients state-of-the-art materials handling systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing a range of equipment, providing onsite support to clients, and ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations.

Key Duties

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of materials handling equipment onsite.
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide expert advice.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings to the office.
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably within the materials handling or related industries.
  • Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Full UK driving licence.
