Director of Welfare and Safeguarding

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Director of Welfare and Safeguarding to lead our award-winning Welfare and Safeguarding team. As a key member of our team, you will provide safeguarding support for SEND Cluster and Exning Primary School, which are now part of Eastern Education Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welfare and safeguarding, with expertise in supporting students with SEND. You will be responsible for coordinating policies, processes, and training, ensuring best practice models are used.

The salary for this role is approximately £43,500 per annum, based on a 37-hour working week. We offer a range of benefits, including membership into the Local Government Pension Scheme, family-friendly policies, and flexible working arrangements.

Our team works closely with other Heads of Welfare and Safeguarding within EEG to ensure that our processes, practices, and resources match each provision while allowing for uniqueness.
