Permanent SEN Teacher – Bury St Edmunds
A reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join their team at their Bury St Edmunds site. This is a permanent, full-time position within a thriving educational environment catering to students with special needs, including SEMH difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support student development
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans (IEPs) and monitor progress

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with SEMH/SEN students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
