Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a fantastic Primary school in Havering Romford. Our SEND School provides a positive and inclusive learning environment, recognizing and valuing pupils' individual strengths to allow students to access learning to the best of their ability.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is an excellent practitioner, taking on a creative and dynamic approach to learning and committed to working on a long-term basis with our school. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion and strong understanding of SEND learning environments, bringing their dedication and specialist knowledge to help students' learning and development.

To be successful for this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a Primary or SEN setting
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and motivation
  • A passion and desire to work with students with additional needs, particularly Autism
  • Comfortable assisting with Personal Care
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new learning environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 3-12 months
